First Guild Challenge: Celebrating Independence Day!

For our first Guild Challenge we are celebrating Independence Day!

Our Guild encompasses the Pacific Northwest of the United States as well as British Columbia, Canada.  Both of our countries celebrate Independence Day the beginning of July.  Canada celebrates theirs July 1st and the U.S.A. on the 4th!

Since our Guild is on a new beginning there wasn't a lot of time for folks to participate so please know we'll do better next time!  However, I know you'll enjoy these wonderful entries:

What Independence Day would be complete without a BBQ?!  Artistic Soul Designs created the perfect patriotic apron to wear all summer long.

Let Freedom Ring reversible apron
Graceful Arts created a charming red, white and blue necklace that is perfect to wear to the town's parade or to show your patriotism at any time.  I love the ribbon!

With a nod to the French for their assistance in obtaining the U.S.' freedom, Honey from the Bee created this French Blue Lapis and Filigree Pendant named Amitie (French for friendship):

Freedom is the oxygen of the soul. ~Moshe Dayan

If our country is worth dying for in time of war let us resolve that it is truly worth living for in time of peace. ~Hamilton Fish
